Meet Elizabeth

I have been fascinated by human behavior and how we navigate life, relationships, and events as long as I can remember. After majoring in Psychology, I began my journey in the mental health profession nearly 30 years ago serving children, adolescents, adults, families and couples along the continuum of care. My specialty areas include grief and loss, identity development, trauma, addictions and recovery, foster and adoptive families, and life transitions.  I maintain an active commitment to access and equity and serving the WNC region through mental health, civic, social justice, and educational advocacy.

Tell me your story- how you came to be who you are, what you've overcome, where you dream to be.  We all get stuck sometimes when life becomes an accumulation of disappointments, self-doubt, losses, and confusion. Let me walk with you to explore how to navigate pain, find joy, and rediscover your autonomy and freedom.

I provide ethically and culturally competent, developmentally appropriate clinical supervision for many types of counselors along their journey, from beginning provisionally licensed to experienced

counselors who value the connection and perspective of colleagues

I am available for presentations, training, and one on one periodic   consultation regarding mental health and addictions in school and communities, advocacy, effective leadership and communication, and implementing evidenced-based

best practices
